Responsibilities:

Transports students to and from school in a safe manner.
Obeys all traffic laws and transportation practices outlined in the Driver Handbook, Company Policy, and local ordinances.
Observe all mandatory safety regulations and keep all emergency exits clear of obstructions.
Effectively handles the vehicle and students in adverse weather conditions.
Inspects the vehicle before and after each route or activity trip.
When not driving, working as a Floater or Teacher.
Maintains vehicle in clean condition and informs the Director of any routine maintenance or repairs required.
Adheres to district health and safety policies.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Pass DSS Background check.

Compensation: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Each center is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the center, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of each center. At Handprints Academy, we provide our students with opportunities for hands-on learning. We believe the more children explore, the more they learn and develop a love of learning. We offer childcare for Infants, Toddlers, Pre-K, Preschool, School-Age, and After School care from Infants to age 12.
